This is a Lionel 6-18026 New York Central 4-6-4 Smithsonian Dreyfuss Hudson #5453 Steam Locomotive and Tender from 1992. This is an extremely limited edition that Lionel did not sell through its normal dealer channel. Only 500 of these were made. It runs on O scale track. This highly detailed locomotive is precisely 1:48 scale and was made of brass in Korea under the design and supervision of Fine Art Models in the U.S., who normally specialize in larger scale, really high end, scale railroad models. Features include a sleuth smoke unit, steam sounds, a bell, a whistle, and scale RP-25 wheels. A display case and poster are also included.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-10: Mint. This item is all original, unused, and unblemished. This item was opened only to confirm whether it was 2 or 3 rail and to verify the engine number. This item is in MINT Condition however, there is one small rub mark on the cab roof.
